What is Code 4?

First responders use the term “Code 4” (sometimes signal 4, 10-4, etc.) when they want dispatchers or other first responders to know that the scene they responded to is under control and they are safe.

Code 4 PTSD is a short interactive presentation (specifically designed for Police/Fire/EMS in-house training sessions) about my journey with PTSD. I will discuss real actionable tips about how to identify early signs/symptoms of PTSD, and what you can do to help yourself or your coworkers.
